What qualifications should a player have?The PTPro Soccer Team Training Camp is for ambitious players who want to develop their group and team tactical skills. You should be playing in a club and regularly participating in competitions.

Is there a limit to the number of participants?Yes. A training group consists of a maximum of 25 players (22 field players, 3 goalkeepers). Training is conducted in two age groups (14-16 years and 17-21 years).

Who coaches the players?Head coach Hagen Schmidt, holder of the UEFA Pro-License, has trained in the top academies of VfL Wolfsburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach, as well as in Germany's professional leagues. Coach Alex Schmidt, holder of the USSF C-License, is a young and talented coach with experience from youth academies in Germany and the American college system.

What should I do if I can't participate?Please inform us by email at info@pathtoprosoccer.com. If the player is injured or falls ill for an extended period, you will receive a credit for that period upon presentation of a doctor’s note. If private commitments prevent participation in individual PTPro Soccer Training sessions, we can offer a maximum of one session per training week as a voucher for the upcoming training month as compensation.

When and at which locations does our weekly Pro-Day camp take place?Our weekly individual PTPro Team Training Camp will take place at various locations. You can find all dates and locations here.

What can players expect in the weekly Pro-Day camp?Highly professional, performance-oriented training focused on group and team tactics. The training emphasis changes every 6-8 weeks.

What should the player bring to the PTPro Team Training Camp?Training outfit, soccer cleats, shin guards, a towel, and toiletries. Everything else is provided by Path to Pro Soccer

Can I enroll at the last minute?Yes. However, it depends on whether there is still space available. Therefore, for registrations received in the last three days before the camp start, we will charge a fee of $20.00. It's best to book well in advance to avoid this fee.

What does a training day look like at the Path to Pro Soccer team training camps?On the camp day, we ask all players to arrive at least 30 minutes before to sign in all registered participants. The training session lasts for 90 minutes.

What should the player bring to the individual PTPro Soccer Training?Soccer cleats and shin guards. Everything else is provided by Path to Pro Soccer.

How many players are in a group?A training group consists of a maximum of 1-5 participants. They are assigned to the respective training groups based on skill and age.

When and at which locations does our weekly individual PTPro Soccer Training take place?Our weekly individual Pro Training takes place in the South Mecklenburg County area. We are currently serving Elon Park, Colonel Francis J. Beatty Park, as well as the Sportsplex in Matthews, but are open to other locations per request.

What payment options are available during registration?All session packages are paid in advance. Clients will receive an invoice via Quickbooks.

Will Path to Pro Soccer conflict with my Club team?Our sole priority is the growth and development of the individual soccer player, so they can achieve their club, team, collegiate and professional goals! All of our training packages provide flexible scheduling so sessions work with your club schedule, not against it.

Is there a minimum age for individual PTPro Soccer Training?Performance is always the determining factor. An age of 13 years serves as a guideline.

Do I need to provide a clothing size for my child's camp equipment?Yes, simply fill out everything in the registration form, and it will be taken care of. If you happen to make a mistake with the size, no problem; we have enough jerseys in all sizes available at the start of each camp.

How can I sign up my child for a camp?Simply fill out and submit the online form under associated with each camp or clinic.

Are the soccer camps suitable for goalkeepers?Definitely! Registered goalkeepers will be integrated into regular group training.

At what age can kids participate in the soccer camps?Our camps are suitable for players aged 6 to 17. Children always train in age-appropriate groups.

Are there any overnight accommodations available at the Path to Pro Soccer camps?No, participants are dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon.

What qualifications should the players have?The most important qualification is a love for soccer.

What should I provide for my child at the soccer camp?You should bring soccer cleats, a ball, shin guards, food and drinks, a rain jacket, spare clothes for bad weather, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and any necessary medications.

Who will be coaching my child?The coaching team primarily consists of trainers from Bundesliga clubs in Germany and colleges, as well as selected former professionals. All our trainers are carefully selected and experienced in working with children.

Can my child be in the same training group as a friend?Certainly, as long as both of them are roughly the same age. Please indicate this when filling out the registration in the "Participant Information" field.

When and at which locations do our soccer camps take place?Our camps and clinics are held during school holidays and teacher days. Check out our current camps and clinics offerings.

What if my child gets sick?First and foremost, we wish them a speedy recovery! In that case, you can switch to another camp or receive a refund of your camp fee. Please send us an email at info@pathtoprosoccer.com with your child's doctor’s note, and we will refund the camp fee. If your child becomes ill or gets injured during a camp, we will refund you $30.00 per day missed upon presentation of a doctor’s note or provide you with a voucher for the same amount. Please understand that we cannot precisely refund the proportional costs, as equipment and balls handed out, as well as other expenses, have already been incurred.

What does a camp day look like at the Path to Pro Soccer?On the first day of the camp, we ask all players to arrive by 9:30 a.m. for registration and distribution of jerseys, etc. Training starts daily at 10:00 a.m. Children stay in their assigned groups throughout the entire camp but change coaches every half-day to receive a wide variety of training content. The first training session runs until around 12:30 p.m. After supervised lunchtime, training resumes around 1:30 p.m. and ends daily at 3:30 p.m. On the last day of the camp, there is a big closing tournament followed by an award ceremony. The final day ends at 2:00 p.m.

Is food provided during Path to Pro Soccer camps?Participating players bring their own food and drinks. In addition to water, we provide tasty low-calorie, and low-sugar sports drinks in various flavors.
